Kritika Global is officially shut down on Steam today while Kritika Zero heads for release tomorrow

This is a tale of two Kritika Online titles, which might be a mercy since this game has come back four different times. Specifically, we’re referring to the nominal end of Kritika Global and the upcoming Kritika Zero.

Readers will remember that Kritika Global was the NFT-filled form of the action MMO that had a stumbling launch particularly on Steam, where its blockchain link was cut away in lieu of a horrible cash shop. Our prior report noted that the game was already not playable on the platform, but now publisher/developer ALLM is sunsetting the game on Steam today. “While we have strived to deliver an exceptional hyper-action RPG experience through our official Steam channeling service, it has been concluded that continuous operations are no longer sustainable due to challenges with maintaining servers and addressing issues such as irregular payment activities,” the post confirms. Apparently, it’ll still be playable for players who already own it – but for how long, who knows.

This incidentally paves the way for the Valofe-run Kritika Zero, which will go live on Wednesday, January 24th. Most of the game’s news is housed on the VFUN website, including a countdown and brief character previews, but of particular interest might be a brief FAQ, which confirms a total of 11 characters, the end of the fatigue system, the number of members a guild can have, and the ability to skip the MVP animation screen without having to be a subscriber.
